Beschrijving

My name is Hiroshi Sakai, and I am a Japanese artist and workshop facilitator currently based in Rotterdam. Flowertelling https://www.instagram.com/flowertelling.rotterdam I work with traditional Japanese techniques such as Oshibana (pressed flowers) and Washi flower art. In Japan, I have over 20 years of professional experience in the flower industry, and I combine this background with artistic and educational workshop practices. I offer creative workshops using traditional Japanese techniques such as Oshibana (pressed flowers) and Washi flower art. These workshops provide a calm, hands-on experience that supports wellbeing, mindfulness and creativity. During the past year, I have successfully conducted workshops at primary and secondary schools and BSO locations in Rotterdam, working with children in diverse educational and social settings. Based on this experience, from 2026 onwards I would like to expand these workshops to adults as well, for example as part of: corporate wellbeing or employee benefit programs cultural or diversity-related initiatives The workshops offer employees a moment of relaxation, creative expression and cultural exchange, inspired by Japanese craftsmanship. ※Format, group size and conditions are flexible and open for discussion. I would appreciate any information about participation requirements, collaboration possibilities, or next steps. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
